Core Issues Trust Queries Biased LGBT Research Proposal

A letter has been sent to the Department for Communities (DfC) in Northern Ireland following a call to participants from the Rainbow Project announced research funded by the DfC on ‘conversion practices’ in the region. Core Issues Trust as a registered charity in Northern Ireland has raised concerns about the danger of biased research that excludes the viewpoints of those formerly LGBT who have benefitted from interventions.

Head of the Science and Research Council at the IFTCC Dr Laura Haynes PhD and IFTCC Chairman Dr Mike Davidson PhD have further outlined some of the issues that are seeking answers from the DoC for, in this article: “Public Money Being Used for Biased LGBT Research” which is also downloadable as a PDF version here.
