A letter has been sent to the Department for Communities (DfC) in Northern Ireland following a call to participants from the Rainbow Project announced research funded by the DfC on ‘conversion practices’ in the region. Core Issues Trust as a registered charity in Northern Ireland has raised concerns about the danger of biased research that excludes the viewpoints of those formerly LGBT who have benefitted from interventions.
