It’s increasingly difficult to find and to provide counselling help for individuals who don’t want to continue in homosexual practices, and no longer have gay identities, or who seek to overcome gender confusions.  Many professional bodies refuse to allow their members to offer such help.  Because of this, there is little opportunity for collegiality among those who do offer this work and almost no opportunity for continuing professional development.

The IFTCC aims to assist those seeking help to find persons recognised to do such work, through our list of “preferred providers” – individuals we believe are appropriate persons to contact for adult persons seeking help. We are at the early stages of this development, but in some countries we are able to link those seeking help with those willing to support them where possible.

Please check this page for updates as we build our contacts and in different regions.
